I enjoyed this book a lot. This book shows you that life is different behind closed doors. I recommend this book to kids that enjoy reading about lives about others and enjoy reading. This book can be read by girls and boys. What I like about Jaye Murray’s writing is she tells the truth and that everyone can change if you just believe.

The Second Summer of the Sisterhood is written by Ann Brashares and is 373 pages. This book is about 4 friends (Bridget, Carmen, Tibby, and Lena) Bridget is going to Alabama to visit her family and confront them and she wants to avoid them. In the book Carmen’s mother is acting weird and different over a man and later on Carmen finds out her mother had borrowed her pants for the date. Lena is depressed because she breaks up with her Greek boyfriend then he comes to visit Lena. One of my favorite books is: Is That a Dead Dog In Your Locker, by Todd Strasser. This book is about two boys named Wade and Leyton. Wade is the smart one and Leyton is the dumb one. They are trying to help there friend Daisy who is the child of hippies. She is watching her neighbor’s dog wheezy, who smells a little like French cheese. The problem is that they have no where to leave him. So they decide to take him to school with them. Then, all of a sudden, their arch enemy Barton finds out that they are hiding wheezy in Daisy’s locker. He told them that they had to invite him to Daisy’s party that her parents throw every week or he will tell assistant principal Snout. But when they say no, Barton tells assistant principal Snout to check Daisy’s locker. When he started to walk over to the locker he saw…

Read and find out!

This book was about a girl named Alison. Her mother Helen and her were fighting and then all of a sudden her mother got arrested. She got very scared. The only person she could call was Kelly her best friend. When she called her friend she answered. But what she didn’t know was that her friend was a backstabber. Her boyfriend got stolen by Kelly. Kelly was a trouble maker. Will her mother get out of jail? Will she get revenge? You will have to find out by reading this book.

I think other people should read this book because it teaches people how friendships could be. Also how friends could backstab you and you could get revenge. I really liked this book because I could really relate to the book and the problems of backstabbing which I had a lot of in 6th grade. Maybe people who read this book can relate to it just like I did.
